Postdoctoral Researcher
Nicholas is a Columbia Nano Initiative Postdoctoral Research Fellow working with the CCI ChEF team to explore electric field effects in organometallic transformations. In collaboration with the Nuckolls and Venkataraman groups, Nicholas is currently engaged in synthetic organometallic chemistry and scanning tunneling microscopy break-junction measurements to probe how the reactivity of transition metal complexes can be manipulated with strong, local electric fields in nanoscale junctions.
